Here we go again. I continue to battle weight loss daily and need to change my lifestyle in order to live a long and healthy life. Whether I want to admit it or not you do not see elderly "big" people. If I want to live a life to see my kids graduate high school, watch them get married and start a family of their own, then I need to take control of this while there is still time.
I am 26 years old. If I was a pro athlete I would be entering the "prime" of my career. I am by no means close to where I was when I was playing college ball, but with work I can get myself to that point and even get back to the weight I was in high school. The good Lord has given me this time on earth and I am going to do my best to glorify Him while I am here. The way I am living is not glorifying God, but I aim to change that.
Today, January 5th, 2015 I enter my quest to lose 100lbs by January 5th 2016. This is a lofty goal, but with the support of friends and family and the strength from my savior I will do it! So it is time to go from a college lineman who has let is weight get out of control to a lean, mean, lightweight. Let's do this thing!
Brick by brick.
