It is day 5 of the lifestyle change. I am 9 lbs down from my weight on Monday Morning. Hopefully this is not giving me false hope. It is like a drug, I want it to keep pouring off and want to be addicted to the weight loss and exercise.
I am in a wedding in a month from now. The suit coat I originally received was too small and the replacement was still tight in the arms. Instead of getting it to a tailor I am going to drop the necessary weight to help it fit. 25lbs by June 6th should do the trick. it is a lofty goal, but if I continue to commit to eating this way and working out I know I can do it.

Good Week
I am having a great week! It has only been 4 days on my lifestyle change, but I have flipped the switch. I have a great mindset and am so energized from eating better and exercising. I only have a 30 minute lunch break, but have decided to go on walks during that time at work. I usually walk a mile or a mile and a half each day. This is starting me on the road to consistent exercise. Today I logged 4.2 miles walking/ jogging throughout the day. I am trusting God to give me strength to overcome my lazy tendencies and other temptations. Leaning on friends and family to help me succeed.
Feeling good and loving life. Not just a diet, I am changing my life!

Here I go again. You are probably thinking, oh no that fat man is going to try a diet and fail! Well, you may be right, but I am going to try and try and try until I succeed.
I am now the proud father of a 3 month old baby boy, Hudson. He brings so much joy to my life and I look forward to watching him grow and develop into a strong man of God over the years. I cannot do this if my lifestyle does not change immediately! I will be dead at 45, leaving my family alone and sad. God may take me before then, but I am going to use my time on Earth to get healthy and STAY healthy.
Diets never work. They are a quick fix. Will I be able to live like I am today forever, no. But, if I lose the weight I can find a program for me to maintain a healthy lifestyle without totally changing my eating habits.
I started my new change on May 5, 2014. My goal is to lose 100lbs in 1 year. This may be a lofty goal, but I am committed to it. That is just my first goal, 130 will be the ultimate goal by the Fall of 2015. This would put me at 235lbs. That would be my lightest weight since high school.
All the glory to God, He will give me strength.
